“These are just a few of my favorite things….”

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been sorting the things I like in different, offbeat ways (such as my list of my favorite Sunglass or Sailing songs) and I have decided to see if I can do it for a year based on something historical that happened on any given day.  I am partial to movies and music, but I only imagine 1 list each week will have movies and/or music as a theme.  I am always curious as to what other people have to say on these subjects as my lists are limited by what I have seen and/or experienced and even more so, by what I remember.  Sometimes, the best choices are just lost in the fog and it takes another voice to remind me of it so please, feel free to add and subtract or even replace my lists with one of your own.
